Re: Closure of former-customer email accounts

Always a good idea to check this for compromised accounts.

Re: Closure of former-customer email accounts

Hi

My old blueyonder.co.uk email has been compromised. I have reset the password but it was used to commit fraud through paypal.  There was also other @blueyonder emails accounts linked into mine.  I have reported this issue to the police as fraud was attempted.  I would like to report these details and crime number to virgin but the call centre ysytems seems not to have a way of doing this.

can I get help with this?

Please can you advise whether you are still with virgin media and was this email your primary email address?

Kind regards

Re: Closure of former-customer email accounts

Hi,

I had an old email account with you which was closed down 18 months ago, it must have been hacked as I have been getting auto forwarded mails from that account.

can you tell me how this account can be closed.

Thanks

Re: Closure of former-customer email accounts

Hi I’m looking for some help on this.

i accidentally, while Christmas shopping this afternoon (from my sick bed - heads mince - coughs loudly!)  purchased 3 instant download items. Unfortunately the email address attached to PayPal is my old blueyonder one! I can’t access this email address now on my iPhone, and have no way of logging into web mail. I am no longer a virgin customer, but didn’t realise this email address was attached to PayPal when I ordered.

how on earth do I get access? I’ve tried the settings , they seem correct ,but I’m getting Mail server imap.blueyonder is not responding. . Verify account info. It’s a 3 figure sum, so I really want to attempt to get the download codes 🙃

Re: Closure of former-customer email accounts

Hi Wineoclock, thanks for posting.

I am sorry.  An email address/mailbox is usually deleted anywhere up to 90 days after an account is cancelled.

Regards
