I have a Virginmedia.com email account which is a secondary account, i.e. not the one set up when I became a Virgin customer. I set it up for my business emails but I'm now retired and want to completely close it. How do I do that?
Sign into My Virgin Media https://my.virginmedia.com/ with your primary account details. Click on the My Profile > Manage Accounts tab and then click on View/Change next to the secondary account concerned. If you want to delete it then chose the delete this account option.

After following Graham_A's excellent advice, please check it is truly gone from the VM system. People come back years later and say they are still troubled by a deleted address. You can check this by running the address through mailtester.com. If still valid, let us know - the Forum Team can escalate this for manual deletion. Best wishes.
