Changing Passwords for secondary email accounts

PhilC
On our wavelength

Does anybody know how to do this now, as VM seems to have taken the function away, and I cant setup secondary accounts on a new Machine?

I have been with Virgin for a long time, they used to allow you up to 10 email addresses, which I shared amongst the wife and kids. I have my accounts working on my PC, the kids have theirs working on their devices, but the wife has bought a new laptop, and cant remember her email password, so cant set up the emails again on her new device

Previously, the simple solution, was to login with the master VM email account, edit the passwords for the secondary accounts, it was a 2 minute, simple solution, now you are sent around in circles and can only edit the account you are logged in by

Seems VM has made it more difficult to manage multiple emails against a single account, so has anyone got a simple solution to this?

Emails are currently the only thing keeping me with VM at the moment, the connectivity issues of broadband, along with the fiasco of lost emails a few months back, means my confidence in them has dropped to zero. If this is another "improvement" they have made, then it may be the push needed, to move to an alternative ISP. I can always create new Gmail accounts

....and I thought NT-Hell were bad......

Hi @PhilC

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

By a new machine, do you mean via third party client?

If so, see here - https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/manage-email-account - this should help further.

Keep us posted if you need further help.
