I have a ‘ntlworld’ email address which is an IMAP/STMP type but I want to sync my MS outlook calendar across my PC, laptop, iPhone and iPad. I’ve been told I need to change the email account to an Exchange protocol.

does anyone know how to achieve this please?

I'm pretty sure that you will need to be using an MS email address to be able sync your MS Outlook calender across devices.
