We have two email accounts. Me and my wife can't send emails on our phones/ ipad. Although on my account, I can send on "virgin media hotspot wifi" but on data and home WiFi, no. On my wife's account, she can't send anything, full stop! Baffling! We can both send emails though, via "webmail". Done all the usual setting changes etc. Also deleted accounts on our devices and reconfigured them. Still no joy. Can anyone help please! I'm tearing what little hair I got left, out! We both god blueyonder accounts.
Virgin Media use block lists of IP Addresses associated with spam activity to deny access to their SMTP servers; list is provided by Spamaus. This seems the likely cause of the issue being experienced. To confirm this when the issue next occurs perform the following steps on the same device::
