Unable to send emai from mobile. Galaxy Note 8. Already deleted and reinstalled. Problem not gone. Got cut off when speaking to virgin customer service.

Virgin media support person says that my "third party" email app is misbehaving after"update" and want to charge me £50 to put it right.so I added my gmail account to this Samsung app and that is working just fine.
That doesn’t sound right & more like a tech support scam. Did you phone Virginmedia directly or search for ‘Virginmedia support’?
There’s quite a number of complaints here with the same or very similar problems.I very rarely use my Virginmedia/NTL email accounts for anything due to poor support of email clients.
Well , suddenly the problem has gone away!. Email working fine! Proof that it wasn't "3rd party" app fault as claimed by VM!
