Cant get in to change sync settings in email

HI emails not updating on my laptop but ok on phone and i pad.

Have tried to change sync but cannot get into the bit to allow this 

Any ideas would be great thankd

We have to assume that you are referring to an email app or client installed on your laptop but without knowing which one it is impossible to give any sensible advice. 😉 

Possible answers might be Microsoft's Outlook or Mail apps, Mozilla Thunderbird or it could be any one of the many others that are available.

On the other hand, if you are signing directly in to your Virgin Media Webmail account (from here https://mail2.virginmedia.com/ ) you should be able to see all your emails with changing any settings.

Let us know a bit more about your setup and someone here will be able to offer some advice.

Which email client are you using?
Is there any error message when you try to open the account’s settings?
