Cannot send email with Outlook 2019

I recently installed office 2019 and setup outlook for my primary email account. Whilst I receive emails I cannot send as I keep getting transmit error, dialogue box requesting my outgoing mail setting pops up.

Let us know the VM error code that comes up in the logs.

Sorry to hear of the problems that you've had with your email Dukie.

 

Have you been able to look at the link that @ ravenstar68 mentioned and could you also provide any error codes or messages that you get when trying to send emails or resolve this?

I too am having problems connecting to the SMTP server to receive emails into Outlook.  I am receiving emails and so have run the logging routine in outlook as suggested and it comes up with Authentication Denied Code VM305
