Hi there,
Im having an ongoing issue suddenly with my email on my IPhone 12 mini. This started yesterday and I thought I’d solved it. I kept getting an account error saying Cannot Get Mail and no password provided for Virginmedia. Please go to Mail Account Settings and enter a password. Also a further message appeared when I tried further saying Cannot Send Mail. The connection to the outgoing server smtp.virginmedia.com failed. I logged onto my account and changed my email password as inputting the correct password in settings failed. I then deleted and resigned into my account and this worked but today I have the same issue? Any ideas how to solve it?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear of the email issue - deleting and re-adding is what I would suggest. It does still happen but only ever occasionally, not the next day etc. Your email, is this linked to an active cable account? If so, please do virus scans on all devices. Change the password to something new, unique, never used before. Then leave it 1 hour. Delete and re-add the mailbox to the iPhone as well. See if that sorts it. Best

@Carla4888 Virgin Media Mail uses SMTP port 465 not 25
