Cancel email forwards when not a customer

I used to be a virgin media customer. I left a few years ago.
Before that I set up a forward for my emails. This is still active.
I do not want to receive any emails from my old virgin acoount.
How can I get them to delete all the account information, or do whatever is needed to stop sending me these emails. They are all spam.
I did ask about this in January 21 but it's still going on.
I wrote to the company about July 22 but this was ignored.
I've just tried to contact via the webchat but after waiting for 30 mins I gave up!
