Can’t verify my email

I’ve recently joined virgin media and went through the process of registering my account. I selected the option to create a virgin media email account. Went through all the options and then an error occurred. I went to go through the process again however it says I already have an email address and to use this to sign in. When I go to sign in it says that I need to verify the email address I chose, however I am unable to do this as I need to sign in using that email address and thus I’m going round in circles.
