Can't send emails with attachments (syntax error) ok with Outlook though

 

200 SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON

Does this occur with all attachments or just specific file type in webmail?

As a temporary workaround try compressing the file before sending, i.e. compress to zip file.
