Can’t send emails from iPhone

Hi please can you help me, I can’t send emails from my iPhone but can receive. This has been going on for a few days now. I can log into my virgin account and send and receive from there now problem, only sending from iPhone email this happens.

There has been many complaints on the same subject & there doesn’t seem to be much of an answer.
What’s your outgoing server? It should be smtp.virginmedia.com SSL yes Port 465.

Some have had luck by changing the account’s password via my virginmedia then updating said password on their iPhone.
