Can't send e mails

I can not send e mails from my blueyonder account on my phone or my PC. 

All  outgoing settings are correct 

But states VM304 failed authentication 

Help.

That error code implies that the email address you are using to authenticate sending via the smtp server is no longer valid on the vm backend servers.  Are you still a VM broadband customer?  Sometimes these error codes can be misleading, but you will need the VM Forum team to look into what is actually happening here.  The help they can give will be influenced by your answer to the question about you current VM account status.

Thanks for prompt reply. 

My husband is the VM broadband customer. He is a current customer 

He is shown a a primary e mail user

I am secondary .. He has not been affected  

I m receiving but cant send e mails.

Although you use the email address, it's actually controlled by your husbands broadband account.  Virgin Media will be able to assist, but the account holder needs to be the one who contacts them.  If you can get him to join the Forum and respond in this thread, VM will need to go through the necessary DPA  checks before they can escalate this.
