1) Is that when you are accessing your email account directly from the Virgin Media Webmail service on the VM website https://mail2.virginmedia.com/ - in which case exactly what error message are you seeing?
2) Or, are you are using an email app (such as the Apple Mail app) or client (such as Microsoft Mail or Outlook) to manage your VM emails?
If you are using an email app you should try accessing the account from the VM website (enter the email address and password into the above link) to see if the issue is with your VM email account. If you get an error message when you try to sign in then post that back here to get advice relevant to that specific error.
