It's done this a few times before, why does it do this? I'm trying to apply to a job!
Usually caused by a corrupt browser cache or cookie.
Clear cache and Virginmedia cookies or use an incognito/private browsing window.

Try incognito mode by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N as a quick fix then later go to chrome://settings/siteData, search cookies for virginmedia and then select Remove all shown.
