Hello,

I need some help please, my grandparents email address has been offline now for a couple of months, all of a sudden just went offline and I cannot get access to it, even with the password. My grandad passed away in October 2022 and my nan does not really know how to use a computer/emails, but I need access to them for various things regarding my grandads death and I am getting slightly stressed that I cannot access them.

I have looked at previous posts and people are saying reset your password on virgin media but it comes up with an error message due to not having a virgin email address as it is still blueyonder. Any help would be really appreciated!

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with accessing the email account.

Also I am very sorry to hear about your Grandad passing away.

Can you please try this and see if that helps.

Sign in to My Virgin Media 
Go to Account settings, then Account details 
Tap Manage next to Manage your Virgin Media Mail app password under Virgin Media Mail 
Then, under Virgin Media Mail app password tap Get password 
Continue the flow and a new secure password will be generated, and the mailbox unlocked.

You may have to wait around 15 minutes before accessing the mailbox again.
Update any third-party apps that may be use to access your Virgin Media Mail emails with this new app password.
