Blueyonder email

My Blueyonder email stopped working yesterday through Windows Mail. Web based mail works fine as well as accessing the email through my Android phone and ipad

Windows mail asks for a a logon password multiple times and then fails to authorize. I have not changed any settings, this has just happened out of the blue.

Any ideas?

Hi @mikeyd3316 thanks for your post although I'm sorry to hear of your concerns raised here.

If Webmail works fine, this would demonstrate that the issue is with your Mail Client, Windows Mail. 

Would you be willing to try and reset your webmail password (which would mean you may need to change passwords on other email clients if they don't syncronise), and then see if matching this up on your Windows Mail permits this to work?

problem solved, my email was blacklisted, followed instructions from previous responses, problem solved

problem has re appeared, unable to send emails, asking for user name and password. Incoming mail is fine, just outgoing!

Getting tired of this now.........

Sorry to hear issue has since returned. Are you using the email for business purposes or sending bulk emails out at one time?

But why was it ‘blacklisted’ in the first place, (was it via Spamhaus by any chance)? It was blacklisted for a reason, and unless you took steps to find out what the underlying reason was and mitigate that, then any ‘fix’ would be short term!

Personal email, not sending bulk emails minimal use

Have tried this but has made no difference

To solve the issue I followed the steps from other threads to solve the issue. Have gone back to the spamhaus website and my details show no issues. I have no idea why it was flagged in the first place
