Blocking emails from specified domains

I am being bombarded by spam/scammers email and would like to block them.

the usual bitcoin and virus protection out date etc.

i have read posts suggesting I use filters with the named domains. The scammers are just changing the first part of the sending address. There seem to be a limited number of sending domains.

where are the filters and how do I apply them?

In simple terms please step by step I am not an IT expert

thanks

Re: Blocking emails from specified domains

Looks like there are many similar complaints and that includes me. I tried filtering for apparent email addresses got some, then I tried filtering based on Mailing list, as many seemed to contain common details. But then they soon started getting through again.

However I have now  succeeded in getting all this crap moved to my Spam folder by replacing the many I had set up with a single filter:-

                                                    Sent Date     Lower    04/10/2020

I am going to copy this to others in the same boat, hopefully it will work for you too. ..

Re: Blocking emails from specified domains

Thanks for the response.

I’ve tried to set up filters for blocking mail from particular domains where I have been receiving multiple mails.

i have set up filters but still are getting mail from the domain I thought I had blocked.

is it possible to block from a particular domain?  xxxxxx@scammers.com that’s what I need. Where the scammers change the address prior to the @.

please let me know how to do this with instructions a click at a time.

thanks
