Re: Blacklisted Emails

Blacklisting in Virgin Media mail moves the emails concerned to the spam folder.  It does not stop them arriving into the account.

Re: Blacklisted Emails

Hi Graham,

Thanks for your reply, just to say these emails were originally in my Spam folder & I back listed them from there, I thought Once I had Blacklisted them it would stop me receiving emails from these addresses in future

Re: Blacklisted Emails

Hi PeterWJH,

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We can certainly understand the frustration of blacklisted emails only being moved to your spam folder and not being permanently deleted.

Our valued member @Graham_A has explained backlisting these emails only moves them to spam, it dos not stop them from coming in.

I have found another community link https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Forum-Archive/Blacklist-emails/td-p/4478234 which has been helpful to other users and @Graham_A has commented on the thread also which may help.

We have also included the Virgin help link here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/security/how-to-stop-spam-emails.

Kind regards Jodi.
