I've been using email on my laptop all day. Then all of a sudden it stops working and attention required please update the password for this account. I do this and it still doesn't work. I also get credentials needed on my webmail on my phone. Help needed please

Just to clarify, exactly what error message do you see at the moment when you try to sign into your email account with your credentials, (email address and new password) from here: https://mail2.virginmedia.com/  ?
