I thought I posted earlier but I can't find the post. Virgin wants me to change my sign in email. I don't understand the instructions but if I change my log in to my gmail account I get a message saying this will be my new e ail address. I want my primary email to be my ntlworld address so I want to add my gmail to my email "add account" but the website won't let me. Any help please

Yes, definitely consider a range of options, Gmail and Outlook.com are the obvious choices but there are several others that are well worth considering.

Thank you for this very reassuring response. When virgin sent an email saying my new email address would be used in future I did not click on the verification link because i did not want that to be my primary email. This morning I have logged in as normal. Like other people in the thread you sent I was really stressed by this so am going to take your advice on getting a moveable email but in my own time, not as a panic response to this alert.

No I didn't get it this morning but it is very annoying that I wasted so much time yesterday trying to speak or webchat with virgin to no success and then had to go out having been lefty with the impression from Vigin that my security was compromised
