virgin media care/retention team

I have been online to change my current package and transferred to the virgin media care/retention team over 3 hours ago. Does the team actually exist or a deliberate attempt by Virgin media to frustrate their customers.

Yes - it is UK based and so works our office hours. Call it in at 08.00 midweek, that's the best time - although people are still reporting getting through fine at other times with no long waits. Go to “Retentions” on 150 or 0345 454 1111 - options 1-1-4-4 "Thinking of leaving" when you should get through to the people who can help you sort it.
