my bill has increased for a second time this year?

Has this happened for anyone else? My 'fixed' contract was increased by £7 in May as notified. But today it has increased by another £6. I have been with VM longer than I can remember, but if I was a new customer the contract that isn now costing me £44 a month is £26.50. I can't afford this additional cost after absorbing the initial £7

Do you have a fixed discount on the standard price (more common) or a fixed price for your minimum term (less common)?

VM increases its prices each year around April. Next year it will be an increase of 3.9% + RPI.

When does your minimum 18 month term end? Has it just ended or has some other discount ended to cause your price rise?
