damaged virgin / NTL box on pavement - danger to pedestrians

where can I report a large damaged NTL / Virgin box that is lying on the pavement with wires exposed ? local council doesn't want to know as "it's not our asset"

The number (automated iirc) for reporting street box problems is 0330 333 0444, you can also wait for the VM staff to pick up the post as well.

The VM Forum Team here will pick this up. Can you post the nearest postcode to help them identify the box. And as for your local council you might tell them that they are responsible for the state of their streets and their safety. They know who report this kind of damage to and they should do so rather than passing the buck. But as they have passed it drop the post code here please.
