Why is it impossible to speak to a human being from VM customer service?

You may be able to receive help via the forums if you state what issues(s) you are having.

Which contact method have you tried?

The quickest contact method is by calling either 150 from a VM landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, call around 8am if possible when lines first open and are least busy.

If you don't want to be tied up on the phone you could also you can text VM on 0753 305 1809 or speak to the team on WhatsApp on 0730 532 7112.This often takes 4-6 hours- phone calls take priority.

Newapollo,  that is nowhere near the response one got from NTL in Luton.  Half a dozen rings, phone answered by someone who's first language was English and a solution to issue set in motion.

Not now, not by a long chalk.

I am currently going through a divorce and keen to reduce my bills.  Trying to get through to a human is impossible and I just get fobbed off with 'unprecedented/ unexpectedly busy'.  I have been with Virgin for over 20 years and am disgusted by the indifference of their 'customer service'.  WhatsApp function isn't fit for purpose and having finally got hold of a human on the text function, I am waiting over 15 minutes for a reply.  Complete indifference from Virgin.

Don't be too sure that your text is from a human. I had a query that I tried to get answers from through the forum. It was picked up as private message by virgin. Then followed a conversation that almost seemed human but the replies came just too quickly and were not addressing the right problem. A human would have been expected to understand and address the simple query quickly but the Forum Helper never actually got there.
