Website Hosting

I'm paying Heart Internet £50 per year to host my simple, non-commercial gallery-based website. Quite a few hosts are offering similar for as little as 99p per month.

Anyone able to recommend a reliable host? Googling seems to turn up potentially biased reviews.

Re: Website Hosting

if it's a simple website then you can buy a raspberry pi (or similar) and run it as a web server.
stick it on your network, forward port 80 to the local IP, and configure your domain to point to your WAN IP.

Food for thought - thanks for the new trajectory.
