When I navigate to the Webchat page in order to make a complaint the page suggests that a live webchat service is available but what actually seems to happen is that a WhatsApp button appears which takes you to WhatsApp, which is NOT a live webchat service.  What's meant to happen ?

There are zero posts that read :  I used VM Webchat and my issues were resolved quickly / easily / satisfactorily.

AIUI, the availability of webchat depends on the availability of operators at the other end. When there are not enough agents it gets diverted to Whatsapp.

but don't necessarily expect any useful outcome from any of them. The VM complaints system is more an appearance of a complaints process than an actual complaints process.

As it happens the agent I spoke to on WhatsApp was prompt and helpful !
