Want to leave - no access to a phone

Hi, currently in China, without access to a phone that can call the uk. the tenancy is up on my university house in the uk and so I need to cancel the contract, to avoid being charged for the months until I return.  How can I do this without a phone?

you can't do it via the forum.
you would either need to call or do it writing by registered post.

other option is to get someone in the UK to do it for you, providing they can pass the security checks on the account.

Remember snail mail:

Virgin Media Sales Operation Support, Diamond Plaza, Daleside Road, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG2 3GG

The contract will go forever and you will have to start again when you return. You cannot just interrupt payments for the period until you return.

There must be phones somehere in China that can call the UK if so call it in -- 08.00 midweek, is the best time - although people are still reporting getting through fine at other times with no long waits. Go to “Retentions” on +44 345 454 1111 - options 1-1-4-4 "Thinking of leaving" when you should get through to the people who can help you sort it.
