Very poor service in BR6 area over several weeks

I have had a number of outages over the last few weeks and had several text mesages from Virgin Media telling me that there has been a problem with the network for the BR6 area. I have spoken to VM on a number of occassions to request compensation for the poor service and on at least two occassions they have booked in an engineer visit saying they will check everything at my address in order for the compensation to be applied. The appointments have been confirmed via text only for them to be cancelled shortly after as it was discovered to be a network issue.

Not sure how other ISP perform in this area but it really feels that Virgin Media is pretty poor particularly in my area based on the number of outages they have supposedly fixed only for it to crash again.

Is anybody else in a similar position?
