VM community my 1st posted message

I signed up this morning and confirmed my email address before typing my1st community post, however, when I pressed the post button an "Authentication Failed" notice appeared on screen and then disapeared just as quick along with my typed post.  Any help on what I'm doing wrong and if I can retrieve what I typed?

"Authentication Failed" notice usually appears when you are not logged in, or were logged out before posting
