Unable to use 02 priority app

I wasn’t sure where to post this but recently received an email from Virgin with a competition. It advised using the 02 priority app which I opened. I got the option to sign in with 02 or Virgin Media account. I chose VM but the app opens the log in page for a fraction of a second before closing down and reverting to the main screen. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app and get the same result. Selecting the log in with O2 does bring up a screen which looks as though you can start the log in process but I don’t have an O2 mobile. The app has worked before but clearly something not allowing VM access - perhaps O2 just don’t like VM customers 😂
