Unable to talk to anyone regards cancellation

Phoned up today, went through the options, asked to be put through to “thinking of leaving” connected to an Indian call centre, very difficult to understand the accent, eventually told him I wished to leave VM,and he said he would direct my call………. Then cut off.

repeated the above, and ………..cut off.

Another option they offer is sending an email to “chat”

this proved equally useless, and was a robotic service telling me all about the virtues of VM.

How the hell do you get to talk to anyone?

New customers , better prices.

Finally got through to the retention team, again, probably in India, excessive background noise made understanding the very polite lady difficult.

Pointed out I’d been with VM since they were Telewest communication, ove 25 years, said I don’t use the phone line, the digi box has been returned to them as o don’t use it, my router is super hub 2 ( possibly 10 years old) all I want is a decent priced broardband only deal, comparably near the new customer price.

Sadly, no offer was made, so I’m leaving VM. The parting shot from India was “ your tied into your deal till June”

I don’t have a deal, I’ve an email that says if I’m not happy with price increases, I can leave with zero cancellation fees.

Lady put me on hold and came back and agreed. I’m no waiting for an Email from disconnections for a date to leave.

Did you all get the price rise warning? RPI plus 3.9%? That’s almost 14% rise.?

Better deals for new customers, don’t stay put, you get zero for loyalty with VM
