They send me stats via email. Eg persentages from my Router, V6 & Landline usage over the last 90days. To keep the persentages accurate. How often should I reboot my equipment. Eg router & V6 tivos. I usually reboot them once a month every 28 days
I've signed upto virgin media's marketing information on my account. I get emails showing my television, broadband & landline usage stats which are interesting to read. To get the accurate stats which virgin media email to me. Does my equipment need to be left on all the time and never rebooted? 🤔 I've been rebooting my equipment once a week as of now. I get mixed information. Do I reboot once a month, once a week or never? Please advise 🙂.
Sorry. Ive been rebooting my equipment once a week. But the call centre tech team as of now advise once a month 🤔 so by you saying never. Are you saying the equipment software does the rebooting automatically? Also for the stats I get emailed to me. Does my equipment send my usage information to virgin for them to collate and send back to me in an email?
Depending who I speak to. The advise is monthly or weekly. I've had various problems with my equipment that's why 🙂. Anyway my question is. Do I need to reboot my equipment? 🤔 Also does virgin media collect usage information from my equipment for statistics? I'm asking as I get emails showing my usage information.
