SIM card not valid message on screen. After waiting 10mins nothing happens. Furthermore when trying sim on another phone it requests a ‘sim network unlock pin’ which has not been provided(default security pin or personal unblocking key don’t work)
Is this a VirginMedia SIM card or another carrier? If another carrier was the phone unlocked from the previous carrier? Has this SIM card ever worked in that phone? Is it a replacement sim from VirginMedia from one of their older SIM cards? Was the phone supplied by Virginmedia? If not the the phone may be locked to a previous network. The other phone the SIM was tried in is certainly locked to a different network, hence that message.
