Reduced my services

I have just cancelled my sports, movies and quicker broadband because the discount period is ending and want to revert back to my original plan, why do l need to sign up to the basic package which I had before the the extras were added for 18 months. Surely this should just be on monthly payment?

When I initially changed my package virgin gave me 12 months at that change but to now revert back to my original package I need to give them 18 months?

what you signed up for was the higher cost package with a time-limited discount. Now the discount has ended you are paying the agreed price.

You can try and get a new deal/package but that will start a new minimum term.

It will be outlined in all your bills whar discounts you have/had and when they end

Virgin did not offer me a new deal, would not give an existing customer the same deal a new customer could get, because I quoted some to them in fact they told me I would have to leave Virgin for “ 6 months “ before I would be classed as a new customer.

its 3 months. and no you are not a new custimer you are unlikely to get a deal that good again

no sounds like they gave you a 6 month discount on the 18-month contract. check the contract or past bills
