any overcharge credit is normally applied to your next bill.

Re: Overcharged, no credit no comment from Virgin Media

Well it didn’t:(

spoken with several customer service people and all of them came up with different numbers. Canceled direct debit will see when they send the bill out as won’t pay it till is not fixed properly.

my bank flagged the taken amount as fraudulent and they investigating.

daylight robbery not the service what they promised at all 😞

Re: Overcharged, no credit no comment from Virgin Media

cancelling the DD will only result in you racking up debt and it being passed to a debt collector.
it will not prompt them to contact you about your issue.

cencelling your DD is a bad idea.
you are in a contract and failing to pay your bill will lead to a debt and a black park on your credit file.

Re: Overcharged, no credit no comment from Virgin Media

No company has the legal right to force anyone to pay by direct debit!

as I said will pay them when they rectify the mistake from December.

and the bank flag them as unauthorised direct debit, as was canceled and they still was trying 3 times to take the money , speaking of which almost double the agreed amount.

they know they did wrong but due Covid hardly any staff in the office and computer generating the bills.

good that everything can be blamed on Covid now 😞

ok good luck with that.
don't be surprised if you end up with a debt though.

Re: Overcharged, no credit no comment from Virgin Media

Don’t need to be sarcastic...

Forcing anyone to pay by DD is not legal and is not in the contract at all.

thank you very much
