No notice received about price increase

I received my Virgin bill this morning and saw that it had increases by over 20%. I rang up to cancel today and was told I would have to pay £80 exit fee. I confirmed that I had received no notice about this , but they would not budge, will have to pay until my contracts ends on 1st September. The customer service is a disgrace, the lady brought me to tears in the phone but she didn’t seem bothered. I will be leaving as soon as I can.
