New packages for existing customers?

  • I just received an email reminder-contract coming to an end ring us to discuss new package options. I rang only thing on offer same package £2 less on the higher new price. So much for loyalty. Operator just not interested. Looks like I am leaving. Has anybody else been treated with so little respect?

Pretty normal.  You can play the game a bit more (see below) but still no guarantees.

what offer would have made you feel like you had been "respected"?
your contract coming to an end with whatever deal you agreed to expiring.

you were offered a discounted price from what that the current price now is.

so what exactly would you have deemed respectful?

To be honest, I would be happy to stay for a similar price, even upgrade a little and pay a bit more. I was responding to a message VM sent me. To be told there was nothing except 2 pound off the new increased price. I would have at least expected some discussion.

so only "loyal" if the price is right, otherwise you're off-ski?
is loyalty a one-way street then?
