Moving tv around

Got our virgin boxes set up b4 we actually moved in. Now that we are in and settled we want to move the TV but the cable to the tivo box is very short so can't move it, can anyone give us any ideas of what to do?? Don't want to have to pay £99 for an engineer to come out and look at it, if we can do it ourselves.

Re: Moving tv around

Technically you are not allowed to touch virgins network, if you do and induce noise on the system you can effect other customers signals and be charged for the costs involved in tracking down the fault

Re: Moving tv around

If that's the case then leave it where it is, as a non fault issue it will cost £99.

Re: Moving tv around

A longer HDMI cable could be the solution.
