Locked in price 18 months

Elderly parents as of November 2020 have a locked in 18month contract (Have email stating) they have had a price increase. I dont think they should have an increase as price locked in.

Re: Locked in price 18 months

there is no such thing as locked in prices.
the T&C of the contract allow for price rises that are agreed to when the contract is taken out.

When the price rise happens you are notified and have the right to cancel within 30 days of being notivied but this time has now passed.

Re: Locked in price 18 months

Any discount that your parents have been offered for the 18 months will still be honoured – so if they accepted a fixed price then they’ll receive that until the end of the discount period.

If they accepted a £ or % amount off, this will also continue to be honoured but they will see your price increase from the 1st March.
