Estimate for go live

Seems everyone around my area seems to be going live - the cabling was completed in the summer of last year and I see technicians working in the cabinets and I have registered an interest on your site, but as of yet nothing - is there an estimated go live date for CT9 3EJ

Many thanks in advance

Daniel

Re: Estimate for go live

Hi afy65,

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our forums page.

Unfortunately we don't have any updates for you about this, however, I would recommend re-registering on our site here

As soon as we have any updates for you, we will be in touch. Once the service is live in your area, you will likely get information in the post about it and also sales reps may call at your door.

Thanks

Lindsey_C

Re: Estimate for go live

Hi
Could someone not check this out for me as I just cant get a straight answer form anyone at VM Smiley Sad
The roads to the sides and rear of me are active, but not my road - could it be that my road has not been cabled at all?

Re: Estimate for go live

you would know if it had been cabled, as they would have dug a trench along the pavement in front of the houses.

Re: Estimate for go live

I live on an a private estate - there is access panels in the pavement every couple of houses - so the roads have not been dug up at all - so I am assuming that they have used these?

by private i assume you mean not council adopted?
if the road is not council adopted then virgin won't come and install cabling.

how new is the estate? it's possible that the developers would have done the work, but you would need to speak to them if that is the case.

you say "cabling was completed in the summer", what did you see being done?

Re: Estimate for go live

Hi
What I i meant was that its not a council estate and the roads on the estate are council adopted.
Not sure how old the estate is, but would say its not that new.

Re: Estimate for go live

ok so the road is council adopted, but at no point has anyone been down the road to dig a small trench to lay the cabling?

you say there are access panels on the pavement? what do they look like?
