Loosing the will to live trying to deal with Virgin Media Customer Services!!! Ive been a customer for 5 years now and would like to leave my contract or at least ask about a better deal as it has just risen from £27 to £45 a month which is disgusting for Broadband only - Vodaphone offer exactly the same bandwidth at £23 a month no extra fees.
I have tried calling 5 time yesterday and simply get a women saying ' all lines are busy try later then hands up.' I have tried again today and had the same. Does Virgin think their customers have nothing better to do than sit on the phones literally for hours trying to complete what should be a very simple process.
I appreciate they may be short staffed - so give a god damn email address! so that we can say what needs to be said and get on with our lives. The worst customer service I have had to endure for some time and makes me want to leave even more - if I could actually tell someone that!
I spent one and three quarter hours on the phone on Sunday trying to get through to customer services. My call was cut-off before I got through to an advisor, meaning I will have to do it all over again some time.
How a business so big and rich as Virgin Media can get away with treating their customers so badly is a disgrace.
This happened to me yesterday, on my 5th attempt i got through and spoke to a man I had trouble understanding. The line was dreadful (I had full signal fyi) and after 3 minutes the line cut off - no call back obviously. Its pathetic and I'm amazed Virgin can keep any customers with this poor excuse for Customer Service.
What to do if they dont? Just remove Direct Debit on my Bank?
that would be the wrong thing to do, for you. all that would result in is you running up a debt which would eventually be passed to debt collectors and your credit rating taking a hit. it wouldn't cancel your contract and they wouldn't call you to see why you've stopped the DD
