We want to vary our contract, I rang 08000643850, helpful person, said she’d put me through to customer services. How long can someone wait? I gave up after15 minutes. We’ve been Virgin customers for years, our only complaint is the inability to speak to someone. Any tips?

There are various ways to change your package. Call waiting times can be an hour or so, unless you call 150 from a VM landline/mobile or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone first thing on a morning around 8am when lines first open and are least busy.
You might be able to change your package by logging into My Virgin Media and clicking on the Upgrade package icon - regrades are sometimes shown there, or there may be a messenger icon to speak to agents.
You could also text VM on 0753 305 1809 or use WhatsApp on 0730 532 7112.
Please be aware that replies aren't instant from any of the non telephone services, often taking 4 to 6 hours, but the agents will reply as quickly as they possibly can.
