Cancellation due to increased charges

i have decided to cancel my current contract due to the unacceptable increase of charges that I been informed of. I have been informed that as a new customer I could have the same services that I have for £20 month lower, but as an existing customer of 20 years I will have to pay £3.50 a month higher 😡 It seems existing customers are subsidising VM new customer offers to an excessive amount.

I am experiencing the usual problems already expressed on this forum in contacting someone regarding my request to cancel my contract, tried both phone and text phone line without success, apart from attempts to get me to pay an even higher price for additional service I am not wanting

I will now send my request in writing.

after all these years of loyalty, I am very disappointed with VM customer service.

All ISP's give new customers better offers not just Virgin.  They have also put their prices up, some of them over double what Virgin have
