Banned for spamming?

This is a strange one. I recently joined Virgin Media and set up my forum details. I posted one question about how long it usually takes for the service to be enabled. Think I had 4 helpful replies. Then the other day I went back into the forum and a notice came up saying my forum account was banned for spamming?

I had to created another account, this one.

I’m perplexed 🤔 I didn’t even get the chance to thank the people who replied.
