50 mins on phone waiting for some human to answer

Afraid so! The longest call I have recently made lasted 8 hours! The staff don’t want to know I got transferred to the right department about 9 times waiting between 20 min and 85 min still haven’t got to speak to any one who wants to help!

50 minutes to get an answer is pretty good.
it's normally much longer during peak times (which it would be just now).

Hi g0fyd,

Call queues have been long since the start of covid, and even longer now that price rise emails have been sent out.

 It's best to call between 8am and 10am to avoid call queues, or to a lesser degree late afternoon around tea time
