Yes circa 4Dec 2023 VM advised (unspecified) updates to BN3 7N* network and sure enough currently now have US increased from 4x(64QAM) using 46.2 primary to new 5 US (currently 4x64QAM and 1 x16QAM) with 43.1 primary replacing the 46.2 Needless to say VMC still partially broke with failed option to display Hub speed. This also needs repeated “forgetting” my “BLKSH310” and re-installing sometimes daily as otherwise appear to loose 2.4Ghz band. I can provide all evidential backup here or on separate thread in due course….. Festive greetings in meantime… xx Re: VM Connect App on IOS has recorded excessive Hub3 latency WARNING…WARNING…. Will Robinson - Alien Presence Detected! Yes - it’s true - after 2 decades+ (from invite in 4q2009 to accept “Community Ambassador”- to which I suggested that I was a “maverick” and didn’t “suffer fools gladly”) : Now I’ve been informed that “if you have a PM/DM communication” then while the FT members are required to “pickup” in absence of the originator then any “incompetent/inept” contemporary FT Members do not have access to the “Original technical” dialogue! This ultimately appears to to illustrate that pursuing any issue via PM/DM is ULTIMATELY worthless! - Naturally many users will agree - but this “waver/caveat” should still be published to protect the excellent reputation of a small number of FT members that continue to persist supporting the minority of us users that persist in supporting VM! UPDATE FAO: @Adri_G - Just returned from Selsey Beach Hut, (3rdJune) and already lost Apple email client “send” (15 legacy NTLWORLD CLIENTS)….. can all receive ok, & gmail/Apple send ok. Have risked a FR and firmware unchanged via “config s/w update” and “SK-RSPEED” still providing optimal 350/35+ Tier speed but VMC(onnect) still failing despite deleting/re-installing.(5April last functional access) 6th June (and now “NMC FIRMWARE UPDATE-same version as 3rd JUNE”) and further VMC DEL/RE-INSTALL have now regained Hub3 access but speed check still fails…. I’m now looking at IOS 16.6 beta an possibly IOS 17 BETA PREVIEWS …… OK - I did get a PM reply from FT member as @Adri_G is unavailable (no details as to whether this is temporary or whether the complaint is “closed”?) - I had audacity to use our Selsey Beach Hut for a fortnight and thus only a remote access back to Home…. Which precluded having access to WiFi Max/VMC. Appears FT “stand-in” is now attempting to “allegedly obfuscate” with focussing on “email - send” issue that has been “potential caused” by VM Development’s update to Network “Spam/Security” update (see EMAIL forum posts on this website). So let me emphasise for any reader/FT/VM manager that is tempted to further waste my time again ( “ hoc opus est labor est “)that this thread is referring to VMC “excess latency” which has failed to connect since 5April2023…. Now @Adri_G had a professional approach that concentrated on structured diagnostic approach….. but is obviously no longer available and “diagnostic history” of my complaint not apparently available to Adri’s current stand-in? So when will I get a fix for my VMC and will this include correct “latency for Hub3” as recorded on “Speedtest.net” & other apps? What further diags do you require to progress VMC and WiFi-Max? We do apologise that you've had problems with the Connect App. Our teams will be aware of these issues and will be working hard to have this rectified as soon as they can. Respond to my colleague's Private Message to you so we can have your issue looked into further and resolved. Thanks. I have already passed authentication so I see no need to revert to PM to discuss contract lengths! Or even discounts? Of course your good self and FT colleagues are understandably limited by management IMPERATIVES. This is how users distrust these PM/DM offline discussions and why a few refuse to comply and over a decade ago NTLHell resulted in the creation of this Forum….. I’ll reply to PM but reserve the right to also publish here on open forum! Re: VM Connect App on IOS has recorded excessive Hub3 latency just a friendly reminder to Resolutions that Complaint reference: C-2003231417 Is half way thru it’s 28day term still WAITING for a CORRECT relevant resolution/fix! In meantime (as promised) I will post a copy of formal refutation this week on this thread to illustrate the inept/incompetent diagnostic approach apparently used in the “so called early quick reply”. I can see you're still in a private conversation with Adri so I will leave this in her capable hands. If you need anything else - you know where we are 😊 Thanks, Thanks for the “attention” to this thread and yes Adri is doing a superlative attempt at identifying the many inept/incompetencies to do with my packaging! (Un)fortunately, I’ve been playing “Devil’s Advocate” with VM/NTL/Nynex/“et al”for probably far longer than your good self and Adri combined?……. Over last 30yrs including MCNS/preDocsis……so…… I have to ask the obvious as to why IGNORING MY DIAGNOSTICS for nearly a month on this thread it then takes a complaint (which only produces initially an even more inept “quick reply” that bears no diagnostic relevence with this thread AT ALL-and will be formally rejected with 28 day limit accompanied by further Complaint) to suddenly produce a resource of 2 FT. members? So why not use this sudden resource, team work with Adri and resolve/fix this threads original issue with VMC EXTRANEOUS Latency/Jitter? So can I suggest you do the obvious? Re: VM Connect App on IOS has recorded excessive Hub3 latency And for completeness I attach Feb package (pre 28March): Don't understand why my "package" has otherwise changed? Certainly don't don't see how this would be linked to causing the VMC (IOS)LATENCY/JITTER error- don't really accept CS & RETENTIONS Are that inept? ......but do accept VM managent attempts to discredit some individual ex Trial/Test users by meddling with configs/packages is far more likely.
