Our second regular v box; often freezes at around midnight. nothing moves and when it does its like its remembered every button press whilst we try to budge it. Is this a common issue?
Further we regularly loose the last 2 minutes of recordings even though its set to record the maximum 10 minutes over. Telephone advise is switch box on and off more often. Should I insist on a call out and replacement? or just change to a different provider and be done with it
If its a V+HD box, the "midnight update" slowdown has been there since the boxes were introduced & is normal. The recording issue could be a box problem or a signal issue. If you dont fancy ringing faults again, the Forum Team here can book engineering assistance if required. One of them should respond to this thread shortly.
