I have seen quite a few posts detailing the same problem that I am facing.
Apologises if I am posting off topic.
Randomly when we change channels, we lose sound. Sometimes if we hit the "Home" button and select movies to initiate a different picture source, i.e Virgin advertising the latest movies, the sound comes back. This doesn't always work and we have to then reset the TiVo box (1TB)
Any ideas anyone? Judging by other previous posts this is a familiar issue. Hopefully Virgin are aware and looking to issue a firmware update.

I'm sorry that there's been some issues on the sound when changing channels. Whilst I can see that you have seen threads relating to the same thing here, I would like to mention that I was able to run some tests on the box and have found a fault. You're having some SNR, (Signal to Noise Ratio), issues which will need looking into. Not to go into too much detail but this can affect the viewing pleasure.
